The Killoren Campaign: Interrogations and preparations

Evening has approached and camp was set up for the Empire's army in their campaign against the killoren. Rydar himself was wandering around the camp while Leoric and Draken interrogate the captured dragonborns. Draken was driven for the fact the Empire wanted peace throughout the continent of Cyrden. The whole interrogation was spoken in Draconic but Leoric understood it well. Rydar tried to eavesdrop on the conversation but he doesn't have the knowledge of the Draconic language. However, his attention increased when he thought he heard the word "Centaur" during the conversation. Leoric, being a good companion of Rydar, was able to translate the conversation for Rydar to understand.

After the interrogations, Leoric, Draken and Rydar assembled in a tent to discuss the plan on locating the Killoren Settlement and negotiating with the killoren settlers to join the Empire. When dicussing how to transport the dragonborn prisoner, Rydar objected to the idea that the prisoner should ride on his back. Draken felt insulted on Rydar's objection and searched for another centaur willing to carry the task. Wanting to give Rydar a second chance, Draken asked him to meet him at a moonlit clearing, not far from camp. Draken discussed the importance of operation and Rydar was able to come up with an alternative that wouldn't insult the centaur's dignity of being used as a mount: to pull a wagon with the prisoner on it. Draken agrees to the centaur's suggestion but reminded Rydar to respect him, as he was of a higher rank, in front of his subordinates.

Next morning, Leoric and Rydar were assigned to head out the location of the Killoren Settlement. Leoric scouted the area ahead with Rydar following behind, strapped with the wagon containing the dragonborn prisoner. During their travel, they have come accross some animals of the wild...
